David is a Gas Turbine, Compressor, and Generator SME with 20 years in Equipment Specification, PMC, Commissioning, and Troubleshooting. It is especially experienced in LNG, 8 projects, including many offshore installations as well as some of the largest LNG plants built, large combined cycle power plants, peaking plants, gas pumping stations, and gas processing plants. He has participated in all phases of GTG/GTC projects, including FAT’s, assembly monitoring, and performance testing. David has worked with GE extensively.
David’s activities include:
- Installation and commissioning of a combined cycle power plant in Ohio, with 4 Frame 7FA’s with 4 steam turbines, including conducting full performance testing on all units as well as all FAT’s within the allotted timeframe.
- Installation and commissioning of 6 Frame 7EA compressor drives and 5 Frame 9EA sets on Gorgon LNG environmentally sensitive Barrow islands in Western Australia.
- Lead rotating equipment engineer for Inpex LNG, monitoring the assembly and testing of 10 offshore power generation gas compressor sets, including HMI design, control system FAT’s, full strength tests the full power of the generator sets and full pressure/full load of the compressors.
